Decimal Division

Decimal Division:

  1. Write the numbers horizontally.
  2. Count the numbers of digits to the right of the decimal in the divisor.
  3. Move the the decimal point right in the divisor and dividend the number counted in the last step (if nt enough digits exist in the dividend, add extra zeros.
  4. move the decimal point straight up in the answer.
  5. Divide as if you are dividing whole numbers.
